Montblanc 444 Piston Fill.(c 1952-4). Black celluloid barrel with clear translucent amber window. Cap material is Silvexa * with gold filled cap band.. Nib: MB 585 14 C. medium-broad with moderate flex and very smooth. Early "ski slope" feed. Excellent function. Measures: 13.1 cm capped. Condition: near mint. Measures: 123 mm capped. Condition: A relatively rare pen in near mint condition. Very suitable for regular use or collection . * Silvexa is "nickel silver", aka argentan, or German silver. It is an alloy of nickel, copper, and zinc, but contains no silver.
