PE-62: Pelikan 100 N Milano (Brown marble/tortoise)

Pelikan Milano 100N (c 1940-47). Piston Filler. Black celluloid cap with brown marblized integrated binde. Clear amber window. Pre-1947 step down section. Gold filled trim. Marked "Pelikan Patent" above clip band. Fully restored with excellent function. Nib: Very rare Pelikan 585 unique rhomboid insert that has been noted only in Pelikan Milano pens. It is fine with very good responsive flex. Measures: 4-7/8" (124 mm). Condition and Comment: Excellent near mint example of a very rare Italian manufactured Pelikan pen with a brown marbleized tortoise binde. The pen exhibits several major differences from a German made 100N pen. The tortoise celluloid integrated barrel is constructed from two pieces, one solid transparent part and one solid tortoise celluloid part. This is a rare, historically interesting and highly collectible pen.

PE-54: Pelikan 100N

Pelikan 100N (c 1948-54). Pelikan 100N Piston fill. Black celluloid cap, green barrel and marbleized green binde. Gold filled trim. Cap imprint above clip ring, "Pelikan D.R.P." Fully restored with excellent function. Nib: Pelikan medium 585 14kt. with excellent responsive flex. Post 1947 smooth section. Measures: 4- 7/8" (124 mm) capped. Condition: Near mint. excellent for collection or regular use.

PE-51: Pelikan 100N Milano (Grey Marble)

Pelikan "Milano" 100N Hard Rubber cap, section, piston knob. Grey (very special) marble integrated single core barrel; Piston fill; minimal fading of section, two chick logo; fully restored: Nib: Pelikan 585 14 kt, fine with excellent flex. Measures: 4- 7/8" (124mm). Condition: Extra fine. Excellent example of a relatively rare Pelikan Milano produced in Italy 1950s. Highly collectible.

MB-69: Montblanc 14

Montblanc 14 (1950-54) Piston Filler. Black Resin "Cardinal" cap. Marked "Montblanc/Meisterstuck 14" on cap band. GFT, clear barrel window. Nib; Partially hooded. Fine-Med with responsive semi flex. Measures: 5- 7/16" (137 mm). Condition: Near Mint. An excellent high quality pen suitable for daily use.

MB-68: Montblanc 244 Green Marble

Montblanc 244 (1950-54). Danish Production. PF. Green marbled celluloid. (turn knob action) Marked "DF". Nib: Montblanc 4. medium with excellent flex. Measures: 4-15/16" (127 mm). Condition: Near mint. The color of this pen is striking and very collectible.

PE-47: Pelikan 400NN

Pelikan 400NN (c 1952-55) Piston filler. GFT. Blue-Green striated barrel. Nib: Pelikan, (early) medium with semi flex. Measures: 5-1/8" ( 130 mm). Condition: Extra fine.

PE-60: Pelikan 400 Brown Tortoise, rare (copy) nib

Pelikan 400 Brown Striated. PF. Early feed. Cap imprinted "Pelikan" Unique nib: 18 kt, rare double vent holes designed for producing copies. Measues: 5-0 " ( 127 mm). Condition: Extra fine. Simultaneously with the introduction of the nibs with the Pelikan logo in December 1954, manifold nibs with specific characteristics were produced, including nibs with a second air hole designed to make carbon copies. The second air hole, much closer to the tip of the nib, makes the nib very firm with virtually no flex even with considerable pressure, thus allowing carbon copies to be produced. The pen with this nib is relatively uncommon and very collectible.

MB-70: Montblanc 322 Marbled Pearl

Montblanc 322 (c 1936). Button filler. Marbled pearl celluloid. This pen was made between 1935 and 1938 and was the successor to the IIIA. It has a Warranted fine-medium flexible number 2 nib from the 50s, which is correct for tier 3 Montblanc pens of the time (ref Rosler MB Diary pg 82). The button filler system is excellent and has been fully restored. The celluloid pearl shows slight amber discoloration, barrel somewhat greater than the cap. All parts are original. Measures: 5-0 " ( 127 mm) capped. Overall the pen is in excellent condition with no significant defects. It is relatively uncommon and very collectible.

MB-65: Montblanc 144

Montblanc 144 (c 1950-59). Piston Filler. Black celluloid cap and barrel. Clear amber window. Brass piston threads. Fully restored. Nib: MB 14C, fine/med, bi-tone with moderate semi flex. Early 1950's production. Ciip band not imprinted. Measures: 5 3/8 " (132 mm). Condition: Extra fine. This pen is relatively uncommon, in outstanding condition and collectible.

MB-64: Montblanc 146

Montblanc 146 (c 1950-60). Piston Filler. Black celluloid cap and barrel. Clear amber window. Brass piston threads. Fully restored. Nib: early MB 14 C bi-tone. Med-Broad. with semi flex. Early 1950's production. Ciip band not imprinted. Measues: 5 3/8 " (132 mm). Condition: Extra fine. This pen was manufactured shortly after the end of WWII and is in outstanding condition

MB-61: Montblanc 642

Montblanc 642 (c1954-56). Piston Filler. Cap "silvre" (brushed stainless steel) with black celluloid barrel. Fully restored. Cap Montblanc symbol slightly crazed, other wise in excellent condition, Nib: Montblanc winged 14 C. Medium, with moderate responsive flex . Measures: 5 1/16" (128 mm) capped. Montblanc 256. (c1954-56) "The Big One". Piston Filler. Black celluloid, cap and barrel. The barrel window clear, minimal ink stained. New piston cork with excellent function. Nib: Winged 14C, OB nib with very good responsive flex (see Jens Rosler Montblanc and Collectible Guide- pg 28). Measures: 5 3/8" (136 mm) capped. Condition: Extrafine. No defects what so ever. This handsome, high quality large pen, manufactured using traditional technology is very suitable for regular use or an excellent collection addition. Three available.

FC-1: Faber-Castell 883

Faber Castell (c1953) Cap and barrel Striated Celluloid Piston Filler. Gold filled trim. Striking green striated barrel. Nib: Faber Castell 14 kt fine. with excellent flex. Measures: 5 1/16" (128 mm) capped. Condition: Near Mint. This pen, manufactured by Faber-Castell (established in 1761), is comparable in every way to the Pelikan 400 series manufactured during the same period. PE-48: Pelikan 100 N with 400 striated binde - Prototype

Pelikan 100N. c1954. PIF. Red cap (acrylic?) with double gold filled band. Celluloid barrel has a perfectly clear green window and striking irregular 400 type striped. Nib: Medium, with semi flex. Markings are typical of the early Pelikan 1950 nib. Measures: 4-15/16 "(124 mm) capped. Condition: Near mint with no signs of use. This unique 100N/400 transition model utilizes a 400 nib style striped binde and is relatively rare, possibly one-of-a-kind, though green and grey colored striated examples have been described. Measures: 4-7/8" (123 mm) capped. Condition: Near Mint. This rare pen in near mint condition is highly collectible. Ref: Pelikan Schreibgerate/Writing Instruments 1929-2004 pg 65.

PE-46: Pelikan 101 N Tortoise, short cap top

Pelikan 100 N. PIF. Tortoise celluloid cap, barrel binde and piston knob. Short cap top. Marblized brown pearl binde. Barrel as is usually the case is very slightly darker than the cap. Cap logo: four chick, distinct, but not sharp. Fully restored with excellent function . Nib: Pelikan, fine with responsive semi flex. "Pelikan 585 14 kt". Measures: 4-3/4"capped (124 mm) . Condition: Extra fine. This relatively uncommon pen in this condition is highly collectible.

P-102: Parker Vacumatic, Oversize, Golden Pearl First Generation

Parker Vacumatic Oversize, Golden Pearl laminate. Fully restored with lockdown filler and new diaphragm. Excellent function. Nib: Parker bi-tone medium with semiflex and smooth. Measures: 5-7/16" (135 mm) capped. Condition: Near mint. No defects or personal engraving.. Very suitable for regular use or collection.

P-3: Parker Duofold, Mandarin

Parker Duofold, Mandarin (c 1926-8). Button Filler. New silicon sac with excellent function. Cap and Barrel: Perfect matching mandarin color . Double gold filled cap band.
