PE-65: Pelikan 100

Pelikan 100 (c 1941-50). PIF.Gold filled trim. Black Celluloid cap double cap band. Barrel: blue/green marblized binde with a very clear green visualated barrel window. The acrylic section shows some loss of color. Two chick cap logo. Perfect function with new piston seal . Nib: Pelikan Steel CN medium, good responsive semi flex. Measures: 4-3/4 " (118 mm) capped. Condition: extra fine, no defects, a few superficial scratches on filler knob.

MB-72: Montblanc 3-42G

Montblanc 3-42G PF. (c 1950). Black celluloid, cap and barrel, fully restored. Gold filled trim. Cap imprint: "Mont Blanc". Very slight brassing of cap band. Turn knob imprinted "F". PE-75: Pelikan 400 Green/Green

This relatively rare pen is known as a 400 Green/Green was manufactured from 1954-56. The Green/Green celluloid was also produced in the 400NN model and at least one example of a 400N green/green is known to exist. All parts of the green/green pen, including the cap, section and piston knob are composed of this distinctive bluish tinted green celluloid.

Top of cap marked "SKF". Svenska Kullagerfabriken; 'Swedish Ball Bearing Factory') is a Swedish bearing and seal manufacturing company founded in Gothenburg, Sweden in 1907. Fully restored with excellent function. Nib: Pelikan 585 14kt. marked "M" with very good responsive flex. Measures: 4-7/8" (124 mm). Condition: Near Mint. Produced by Pelikan for SKF Corporation, promotional distribution. Excellent for collection or regular use.

PE-62: Pelikan 100 N Milano (Brown marble/tortoise)

Pelikan Milano 100N (c 1940-47). Piston Filler. Black celluloid cap with brown marblized integrated binde. Clear amber window. Pre-1947 step down section. Gold filled trim. Marked "Pelikan Patent" above clip band. Fully restored with excellent function. Nib: Very rare Pelikan 585 unique rhomboid insert that has been noted only in Pelikan Milano pens. It is fine with very good responsive flex. Measures: 4-7/8" (124 mm). Condition and Comment: Excellent near mint example of a very rare Italian manufactured Pelikan pen with a brown marbleized tortoise binde. The pen exhibits several major differences from a German made 100N pen. The tortoise celluloid integrated barrel is constructed from two pieces, one solid transparent part and one solid tortoise celluloid part. This is a rare, historically interesting and highly collectible pen.

PE-54: Pelikan 100N

Pelikan 100N (c 1948-54). Pelikan 100N Piston fill. Black celluloid cap, green barrel and marbleized green binde. Gold filled trim. Cap imprint above clip ring, "Pelikan D.R.P." Fully restored with excellent function. Nib: Pelikan medium 585 14kt. with excellent responsive flex. Post 1947 smooth section. Measures: 4- 7/8" (124 mm) capped. Condition: Near mint. excellent for collection or regular use.

PE-51: Pelikan 100N Milano (Grey Marble)

Pelikan "Milano" 100N Hard Rubber cap, section, piston knob. Grey (very special) marble integrated single core barrel; Piston fill; minimal fading of section, two chick logo; fully restored: Nib: Pelikan 585 14 kt, fine with excellent flex. Measures: 4- 7/8" (124mm). Condition: Extra fine. Excellent example of a relatively rare Pelikan Milano produced in Italy 1950s. Highly collectible.

MB-69: Montblanc 14

Montblanc 14 (1950-54) Piston Filler. Black Resin "Cardinal" cap. Marked "Montblanc/Meisterstuck 14" on cap band. GFT, clear barrel window. Nib; Partially hooded. Fine-Med with responsive semi flex. Measures: 5- 7/16" (137 mm). Condition: Near Mint. An excellent high quality pen suitable for daily use.

MB-68: Montblanc 244 Green Marble

Montblanc 244 (1950-54). Danish Production. PF. Green marbled celluloid. (turn knob action) Marked "DF". Nib: Montblanc 4. medium with excellent flex. Measures: 4-15/16" (127 mm). Condition: Near mint. The color of this pen is striking and very collectible.

PE-47: Pelikan 400NN

Pelikan 400NN (c 1952-55) Piston filler. GFT. Blue-Green striated barrel. Nib: Pelikan, (early) medium with semi flex. Measures: 5-1/8" ( 130 mm). Condition: Extra fine.

PE-60: Pelikan 400 Brown Tortoise, rare (copy) nib

Pelikan 400 Brown Striated. PF. Early feed. Cap imprinted "Pelikan" Unique nib: 18 kt, rare double vent holes designed for producing copies. Measues: 5-0 " ( 127 mm). Condition: Extra fine. Simultaneously with the introduction of the nibs with the Pelikan logo in December 1954, manifold nibs with specific characteristics were produced, including nibs with a second air hole designed to make carbon copies. The second air hole, much closer to the tip of the nib, makes the nib very firm with virtually no flex even with considerable pressure, thus allowing carbon copies to be produced. The pen with this nib is relatively uncommon and very collectible.

MB-70: Montblanc 322 Marbled Pearl

Montblanc 322 (c 1936). Button filler. Marbled pearl celluloid. This pen was made between 1935 and 1938 and was the successor to the IIIA. It has a Warranted fine-medium flexible number 2 nib from the 50s, which is correct for tier 3 Montblanc pens of the time (ref Rosler MB Diary pg 82). The button filler system is excellent and has been fully restored. The celluloid pearl shows slight amber discoloration, barrel somewhat greater than the cap. All parts are original. Measures: 5-0 " ( 127 mm) capped. Overall the pen is in excellent condition with no significant defects. It is relatively uncommon and very collectible.

MB-65: Montblanc 144
