Gold filled clip and double barrel band. Strong barrel imprint. No date code visible (see below). Nib: Vacumatic, monotone, fine, firm, with minimal flex. Imprinted 4. Measures: 4 15/16" (118 mm) capped. Condition: Excellent example of an early vacumatic suitable for regular use and very collectible. Specifically, Parker did not begin using date codes until 1935. In addition the earliest vacumatics were made of black (non-laminated) celluloid.

A two superficial minute dents in cap and barrel. Logo: two chick logo. Fully restored with excellent function. Nib: Pelikan Gold 585 14 KARAT extra fine with good responsive semiflex. Measures: 5-1/16" capped. Condition: This model was only produced for only one year, 1956, according to Dittmer and Lehmann, "Pelikan Writing Instruments 1929-2004". It is far rarer than even the 520NN which was produced for several years.

PE-75: Pelikan 400 Green/Green
This relatively rare pen is known as a 400 Green/Green was manufactured from 1954-56. The Green/Green celluloid was also produced in the 400NN model and at least one example of a 400N green/green is known to exist. All parts of the green/green pen, including the cap, section and piston knob are composed of this distinctive bluish tinted green celluloid.
